Didn't really receive much for services. Very disappointed. Our experience was with hospice services

Care Initiatives has been a great company to work for with a fantastic group of people from different departments. I have been employed with the company for the past 16 years and I am excited to continue to grow with them in the future. Some of the most caring and compassionate peers I have ever worked with!

Questions & Answers

Where is the best care given to patients in rehab for a stroke?

Hi Bea! Thank you for the question. We operate rehabilitation and therapy departments at all of our locations throughout Iowa. In general, all of our locations can help treat and rehabilitate stroke patients. I would direct you to our website www.careinitiatives.org and use our location finder to find the nearest facility to you. It is best to contact that facility directly to speak with someone so they can assist you with your questions. You may also call our home office for further direction (515) 224-4442.

So ive been working for you for 17 years and i put in my two week notice i still have vacation hours and was told in order to get a payout for my vacation hours i have to give a months notice is this true

Hi Glendora. First of all we want to thank you for your years of service and wish you the best on your next endeavor. As to your question, our company employee handbook does state that in order to receive a vacation balance payout, an employee must provide at least 30 days notice of their resignation. An HR representative from our home office will be reaching out to you to further explain and to answer any questions you may have. Thank you.
