Very very poor service. More than once was told staff didn’t show for work so they can’t help because they are the only one there. Just tried to go through drive through. It looked like no one was there so I called them. A guy answered and when I asked if they were open, he said, “yes we are trying. We are not McDonalds, we don’t have 10 staff here” and then he hung up on me. I’m sad because I really like Sonics food but unfortunately I will not be back.

The cherry limeaids are the BEST! The service, not so much. I’ve been waiting 15 minutes for 2 large drinks, and the kids working here don’t act like it phases them one bit. Whoever manages this place needs to conduct some customer service training.

You may get more traction contacting sonic corporate directly. Good luck!
Call corporate and ask them to open more locations throughout the Des Moines area....it is a bummer though
