Went to the resort for the day to ski. First had a 90 minute skiing lesson at the Bunny Hill with Ian who was a great instructor. He was encouraging, patient and great at explaining the subtleties of skiing. I felt far more comfortable with the skis by the end of the lesson. The bunny hill was great for me to improve a bit at skiing and I had a fantastic time. I hope I will be able to come back soon.

Conditions were pretty good after the area received 9” over the weekend. A few of the black runs were skied off and icy by lunch yet most others were fine. Nice to have the lodge at the top of the mountain open- beautiful views. Parking lots were full yet lines moved right along.

Do not visit on Saturday. They have ski classes that will move right past you in the lift lines. Literally a good hundred kids or more just get shuffled through while me and my kids stood in line for 30-40 minutes for each lift. Not good

Mountain Ambassador here. The holiday week is over and the 6-7 pass is good except Saturdays until next holiday.
If you're in the hotel portions you could bag check. If you're in a condo, you drive up and bring your stuff straight in
Ya I agree, they were making a ton of snow and are usually open Thanksgiving, but depending on how the weather is you may want to call, it was looking great up there!

Typically check out is at 10:30am. But you can a late check out and if they can, they will accommodate you.
No Alpine slide in winter closes end of October and reopens end of May. The Mt Coster is open year round.
Lift tickets depend on the day of the week and time, more info on their website. They do have some deals online as well
