Love the idea you can try the vinegars and oils before purchasing. Very good quality and prices comparable to other similar stores. A nice selection of options and once you have tried these flavored vinegars you won't go back to store bought. I use them on salads, meats and rice but can also be paired with fruit and used in cocktails. The possibilities are endless.

I recently purchased Sicilian Lemon White Balsamic Vinegar and Black Cherry Balsamic Vinegar and they are amazing!!! Absolutely delicious.

Truly a gem found here in Sioux Falls, SD. Wonderful products and excellent service. Allie, who is on staff at Olive Destination, gave incredible expertise to guide me through my buying experience.

Love the options available here! Other reviews ding them for price, but the selection and quality seem more than worth the premium.

Yes, from noon to five.
The reason is that most oil sold commercially as Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) is not extra virgin and if it's not you pay a terrible penalty in taste and health benefits. That's why we have a tasting bar, once people taste the real thing they can easily tell the difference. In order to know if an oil is a true EVOO, one must know some of the chemistry and when it was crushed. That's why we get oils from two hemispheres, northern and southern, that have fresh harvests six months apart to get the freshest product available. We also post the chemistry of our oils so that you know how each varietal compares to the specific chemical criteria for EVOO. You'll be able to see for yourself that all of our oils not only meet the criteria but at the very high end on the quality spectrum.
The FDA says eating 2 tablespoons of olive oil a day may reduce the risk of heart disease, due to its monounsaturated fat content. Extra virgin olive oil also contains polyphenols which act as antioxidants, reducing the oxidative stress throughout your body. In addition it helps with obesity, brain health, high blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol, osteoporosis and cancer. There are many studies to substantiate these findings because olive oil has been with us for thousands of years.
Extra Virgin Olive Oil is simply the juice (it's actually a fruit juice) that is mechanically pressed from a healthy olive without the presence of added heat, chemicals other oils or additional processing. As a consumer, the best way to know is to shop where the chemistry of each oil is available and the retailer is knowledgeable about the chemistry, processing and you can sample for yourself before you purchase.
