I am getting to the point that this is the only place from which I'll buy my wine (vacations being an exception). She sells a wide selection of Florida wines. Most, if not all, if the wines are low sulfate so there's little to no headache when you're done. I have such a hard time narrowing down my choices. She's super friendly & offers tasting for all except the champagnes. It's a smaller, well-organized shop right in historic downtown Melbourne. Park in the parking garage & walk over.

This is the only Winery in Melbourne and it deserves a lot more attention. They have fenominal wines. If your a local or a tourist make this one of your stops.

The owner was great! The customer service was amazing! We were promptly greeted and given an overview of the wine offerings. Even though she had other customers, she made a point to engage us and let us know that we would have her full attention once she finished helping the other customers. We had the opportunity to taste several wines and they were all great! Would definitely visit again if we were in the area. We enjoyed the wines so much that we asked for a card so we can order more when we return home!

Stopped in to by some wine as a gift. Brenda was so helpful. Told her what I was looking for and she picked out several bottles. I got to taste all of them. She is so knowledgeable. She knew exactly which wines to put out for me to taste. They were all amazing!!! My friend is going to love them. I am going to go back and by myself a few bottles. If you are a wine drinker you need to stop in.

Questions & Answers

There are some wineries and breweries that have game nights like Trivia or Bingo. Do you offer that at your place?

Libbi Boerschig | Oct 24, 2021
East Coast Winery | Oct 24, 2021

Hi Libbi, We are a small, retail wine shop, not a vineyard, and we sell only wines made in Florida (most are not made from grapes). We do tastings only (always free) but we are not a bar or an event space. Our license is for sales & tasting only. Sorry we cannot provide what you are looking for. Thank you for your inquiry.

What are the Covid safety practices like here?

We are a small, retail store (not a vineyard) & require a mask to enter the store (we offer new/disposable masks for those who forget). Since our space is not very large, we have limits of how many customers can be in the store. Fortunately (and unfortunately) it's been slow, so we rarely get too many folks at the same time. We are discouraging large groups (over 4). Our customers have been very good about social distancing, which we encourage. We are still offering tastings but keeping them very brief at this time. And of course, sanitize, sanitize, sanitize, after every credit card transaction as well as our door, counter top & tasting area....etc. Feel free to call if you have any additional questions, 321-409-8400. Thank you for reaching out with your question. Brenda East Coast Winery

Do You grow any of your own grapes at a different location, can you recommend wineries that you can visit within 100 miles of Melbourne.

Hi Frank, We are a small business in downtown Melbourne, Florida, and sell all Florida wines. Our store is retail and we carry 5 different wineries from Florida. We are not a vineyard & only a few variety of grapes grow in Florida, mostly Muscadine Grapes. We carry Muscadine grape wines from our closest vineyard, which is 40 miles south in Ft Pierce, FL, called Summer Crush Winery. It's the exit off 95 just after Vero Beach, I call it the Indrio Road Exit (northern part of Ft Pierce). They are easy to find. Great place, lots of land, big pavilion with live music on weekends BUT, I'm not sure if they are doing live music right now, but I know they are open (not on Mondays). Our other lines don't use any grapes but use other agriculture from Florida. We carry citrus wines, tropical fruit wines, berry wines, exotic fruit wines & Meads (honey wines). Those are in St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Homestead, and Interlachen. Summer Crush is the closest. Most others are western FL.

Are the wines sweet ?

Our wines are mostly sweet or semi-sweet. We have a few that are semi-dry and a couple which are dry. Most are available for tasting.

Yes, we have two Cranberry wines. One is called Cranberry Key and contains no grapes, just cranberries. The other is called Cran-Bec, which is a cranberry blended with Malbec grapes. We carry both year round.
