Friendly office staff, nice facility. I do not recommend the doctors here for surgical procedures. We brought our dog here for a spay. After 1 week our dog did not recover normally. She had terrible symptoms of sickness like lethargy, diarrhea, vomiting and frequent urination. This was not normal 1 week post-surgery. We brought her back to her surgeon for a diagnosis of the issue. The surgeon did not have a confident diagnosis of the issue and strongly recommended an "exploratory abdominal surgery" immediately. I declined the surgery and sought a second opinion from another local clinic. St George veterinary hospital attempted to charge me almost $300 for this second post-op "diagnosis"(the surgery itself cost over $400 so this was almost the same cost of the surgery itself). The second clinic did not recommend immediate surgery after performing some tests. Our dog now seems to be recovering more normally after 2 weeks but there may still be something wrong. I am not convinced the surgery (spay) was performed correctly by St George Veterinary Hospital and I am certainly not convinced that their strong recommendation of an "Exploratory Abdominal" procedure was the appropriate thing to do in this case. It suggests a potential lack of confidence in the initial procedure itself and a potential incompetence to be willing to put my animal at serious risk by going under anesthesia and into another surgical operation when she may not have needed to undergo that. For the safety of your animals, I absolutely do not recommend the surgeons here.

My primary vet care for my Aussie, they’re very attentive and fantastic people, no complaints.

I'd call their office. This isn't a forum the vets use, it's just a place people leave reviews about their experience with any given business, in this case a veterinary business.
