As accurate and powerful as Buffalo Bore at a much more reasonable price! It's my #1 carry ammo in both my .357 Magnum (125 or158gr Gold dot jhp) and my 44 Magnum (180gr XTP jhp). I also use the 124gr jhp in 9mm. After thousands of rounds I've never had a failure to feed or a dud! I would have total faith in Underwood ammo if my life was to depend on it!

I've been buying their ammo on and off again for the last 8-9 years. The quality of their ammo is top notch, even the plinking range stuff is great. Brass is always shiny, smooth bullets, flawless casings, the rims of the cartridge are nice and deep, primers set nice, most importantly their ammo has been reliable for me. Underwood ammo = hot ammo as advertised, you won't get cheated when it comes to FPS. Prices have gone up since I first started purchasing from them and the availability has gone down for the cheaper offerings. They seem to focus more on specialty ammo now with expensive 20 round per box offerings at a stout price, depending on what you're looking for. Could be the volatility of the current ammo market supply and demand, but I would like to see more regular ammo and range stuff. Customer service is top notch, they actually pick up the phone. They ship out super quick, and their shipping method is flat rate and reasonable. Back about a year ago I called in to speak to a specialist/gunsmith about their ammo, the reason being I was getting a few fireballs from their .357 sig ammo = screaming hot, (I was worried their stuff was too hot) and I asked them to test a few rounds from the batch with my gun model. The tech called me back 10 minutes later and gave me a 5 shot average which was right on the mark for their advertised velocity.
