My disabled uncle had a parking ticket to deal with here, I was his assistant to push his wheelchair and help him maneuver through the place. It was horrible. Out of all the places you’d think would be accessible and actually adhere to accessibility standards, a COURT HOUSE should be one of the top ones, but the humiliation and strain we had to go through just to get to the room his case was in was atrocious. The ramps are too steep, so I had to make sure he didn’t freefall on the way down, and we had to get help from other bystanders to ascend back up them. The metal detector was too narrow for his wheelchair, so I can’t even imagine what would happen if someone who had a larger electric wheelchair had to come here. Inside the court room was no better, there was once again no wheelchair clearance through the isles and we were constantly bumping into walls and seats just trying to find a place to wait for him to be called. This is ridiculous, the bar on accessibility is already subterranean and this place still managed to be below it.

Very helpful and kind staff

I have had to go to the circuit clerks office a few times and I have always had kind people very helpful explained everything and didn’t talk down to me. That’s a plus when you go to an area you are not familiar with it can be scary but these people were wonderful.

I went in expecting the worst based on the reviews. Boy was I wrong. Every single person was great. Helpful, friendly and true humans not like I expected. I was there for a serious matter but all ended well.

Birth certificate and where to get copy
Is the court open today cause of snow...??11/15/18
They will give you another notice to show. It's called show cause. If you miss that one then you will have a warrant
Depends.
That is a request to be made through your local municipality, alderman or councilman, in the county it would be your district county board member. They would need to take the request to the board for approval.
Call recorder of deeds. Mike Costello office

Go to the website for St Clair county circuit clerk. they have online forms and directions on how to electronically file.
Yes. They will make you turn it off if you have to go into a courtroom
Go to St Clair County Circuit Clerk website. There is a link for searching. You will have to choose between criminal and civil. Juvenile and Adoption cases are impounded, so not a available publicly.
You have to call the circuit clerks office in the morning and talk to the correct department. If it's a misdemeanor then talk to traffic, felony talk to felony. They will need the name and date if birth
No, a judge and the states attorney are the only ones who can dismiss a charge or citation
it used to be to you could go up to the circuit clerk's office and fill out the paperwork but now they have everything online so I'm not sure if you have to file online. I'd call up to the clerk's office and ask
They cannot issue a warrant the same day u missed court unless its more than one court date u missed. So if u missed your second court date then of course they will issue a warrant
Check with the Circuit Clerk's office Mon-Fri
They must attend all court dates until the case is over, too receive the money back
U can call or go into the circuit clerk department and give them to company's name. And they should be able to tell u from there
