I had an appointment scheduled for a car inspection at 1pm on a Thursday. The man told me it would be 30 minutes to an hour. So I walked to Schnucks and walked around for an hour to kill time since I had no way to get home. No one had called after an hour so I walked back over to check on it. My car was still parked where I left it and the man told me it had not even been started on so I should probably go home and pick it up later. I had to wait for a ride home, made it home and received a call at 4:30pm when they closed at 5pm saying it was ready and did not have enough time to find a ride back. The next day I called to ensure it was ready and was immediately sent to voicemail. I had to take an Uber to get my car as I have a dog who is vomiting in need of care immediately (obviously not their fault) but it was unsuspected and I still did not have my vehicle. I paid for an Uber and went to pick up my car hoping it was done. Did not receive any discount or apology for my car being a day late. I understand things happen, truly. I have worked in the service field before. But I would have happily rescheduled my appointment for a different day if they were this busy. And it would have been nice to receive some form of discount especially since I had to pay out of pocket for an Uber. EDIT: Terri the manager reached out to me and apologized for the poor service I received and I was refunded for my visit. I appreciate her kindness and customer service!!
