Course management is horrible. The course has a good lay out and is challenging but they don’t have the resources to water the course/greens or keep it staffed. Several greens have mini sand bunkers on them along with strips that look like the gasoline leak from the mower.

This course is a real shocker! The first 5 holes feel more like The Ozarks than Southern Illinois. The rest of the course goes through flat holes around a lake, in and out of the woods, and plunging back into the valley. It’s a no-frills public course that’s both challenging a blast to play. The course was soft, but considering the brutal summer we’ve had, it was in decent condition.

Great course for the price. Challenging holes of all variety. Clubhouse people very friendly..only drawbacks are parking lot very dusty (not paved)and some of the cart paths are rough..
