Road was completely washed away. Had to kayak there across a busy boat inlet, risking life and limb and fighting off dolphins. Concierge was unaccommodating and we had to set up our own tent. Pest control on the island is subpar at best, but luckily we brought our own bug repellent. Cypress trees were so weak and flimsy they could barely hold a hammock. Plus side, no one can hear you scream, which may or may not be a good thing. If you are looking for adventure and a place where you’ll never be found if you go missing, this is the island for you. Kidding! It was ok and we liked it, but it’s summer so we wouldn’t come again unless it was a little cooler and windy to control the no-see-ums.

Paddle board or kayak. No docks, no roads.
Legal answer is no. Signs say no camping, no fires etc. It does t stop people from doing it though 😅
It's a boat access site. It's literally a mangrove island. I'm not sure how the campsite was established. It's a RUSTIC site with literally nothing there. It probably gets used rarely. Look at it on Google Earth to see where it is. Nowhere near a road.
Beach? There is no beach whatsoever. It's a wilderness campsite in the mangroves. Look at it on Google Earth.
