Question, just wondering why two big diesel trucks have been idleing Infront of my house while they are working on a gas problem for over an hour and a half so far, with the prices of fuel around $5 a gal. Now? But I guess you will just add the wasted fuel cost to our bills? And I know they story's about cheaper to leave the run but if that's true why not leave them run all night in your lots.

My power went out due to not having the money to pay my bill. SAM was wonderful to me. So very kind and patient with me. I think he went above and beyond. Ameren, you have a very highly valued employee. You do not find good customer service anymore. He is an exception.

Our small neighborhood lost power yesterday, at about 1:45 pm, due to a tree knocking a line down. The line was repaired and power restored by 3:45pm, except the last 3 even numbered houses, at the end of the street. We called Ameren. The transformer, in our backyard, was bad. Crew 840 was here within an hour and a half. These guys are AMAZING!! They worked hard, had a two and a half hour storm delay, they stuck around and finished the job before midnight. They did this for 3 houses! Yes, three!!!!! I can't say enough about the service we have received from Ameren employees in the 24 years we've lived here. This Crew 840, they are the BEST!!! THANK YOU GENTLEMEN.
