We loved our visit. I couldn't of picked a better tent site. The spring was great. I liked how it is kept mostly natural. We will be back for another camping adventure. Private star gazing from the pier over the Suwanee River was amazing.

Park is beautiful, I was pleasantly surprised. To camp you need to make reservations ahead of time on the Florida State Parks website, our site was nicely shaded, had a small grill, water and electrical and was located close to the bathrooms and springs. They have a nice playground for the kiddos next to the springs. The springs were very cold but totally worth it, water is crystal clear, great for snorkeling. The park no longer rents kayaks, so you must rent from a 3rd party vendor.

Amazing campsites, very clean restrooms & showers. Missed the picture of the deer walking right behind our site! Will definitely return!

The campground is very nice and the staff was very helpful. Our site #53 was really large - we could have parked 2 class A RVs rather than our small class B Sprinter. There were lots of vultures there who staff said eat plants while they're there for the season (are they snow birds?). Water taste is different than where we live but OK, electricity was either 30 amp or 20 amp but no sewer. With T-Mobile what puny amount of service there is intermittent - sometimes even text messages wouldn't go. There is WiFi at the store, which has been CLOSED for some time, but it varies between 0.1Mpbs and 3.0 Mbps with long ping times - mostly it's unusable. Unfortunately we didn't see any manatees. We used the bath house that was just a short walk to conserve on wste tank storage capacity - very clean. We had a no engine crank when I wanted to run an ODB code check. The staff was there with a big charger/jump pack quickly but it turned out that our shift lever was faulting out and didn't think the Sprinter was in Park. We emptied the tanks in what is the best exit dump station we've ever used. All-in-all a really nice park with a great staff and wonderful campers around us.

You should. It does get crowded.

Best thing to do is go to Florida State Parks and open up Manatee Springs. It has all the information you need and more accurate then me guessing. The length of your combined truck and camper is most important. There are only a few sites with full hook-up.
Yes it is. You will love it!
Their are Gators in the river. I was kayaking last week and there was 2 in the canal out to the river and we saw another large gator sunning on a log not far from the dock
