Lived at Heritage for 13 months, moved out recently. When I signed my lease the original office assistant warned me about the parking situation, I thought it couldn't be THAT bad so I didn't worry about it... It's really that bad. And what's worse is that over a year they have done absolutely nothing to remedy the situation. They don't even document residents vehicles so they have no way of knowing how many vehicles each unit has on the property or which belong to residents vs guests - and there are LOTS of guests parking up the limited spaces. The buildings look nice because they are new and barely lived in BUT they were built cheaply and carelessly. My brand-new, never-lived-in unit has flooring adhesive tracked throughout the entire space, wall paint on flooring windows and fixtures, and both of tub/shower surrounds we're cracked from install. The most laughable thing was that the kitchen floor was SO unlevel that the adjustable fridge feet did not have enough play to level it and we had to shim under one of the feet to prevent it from rocking 🤦‍♀️ Also had a consistent issue with the valet waste service. You cannot opt out of the $30 service. The service agreement states that pickup begins at 7pm, but almost every day the associate starts collection around 6pm. If you happen to regularly work later than that or work far enough away that you cannot arrive home early, you will essentially be skipped on pickup. I reported the issue multiple times and the office agrees they are starting too early but either won't or can't enforce their vendor to follow the service agreement?? 🤔 Meanwhile you'll be paying for a service you don't get. Ladies in the office are very nice, I explained all these reasons before terminating my lease and told her she should feel free to pass them along.... To the useless property manager who retained his position through the recent ownership change. Maybe the new company will effect some change??? I was done paying too much for too little. Oh, and don't let them tell you you can't put large items by the compactor for pickup - I called City of Wilson, you absolutely can 👍

The apartments are located in the best part of wilson and brand new! Being that they are brand new you’d think there would be enough parking. If I pay rent every month I shouldn’t have to worry about paying $270 for a tow truck. They need to have assigned parking slots or require visitors to park elsewhere. Also there are other issues that I won’t blast now but if it continues I will be adding another review. Overall a decent place to stay but it’s not safe to have to find parking outside of the complex. I
