Used to be a good spot but the vacuums haven’t been operating for months

I canceled over two months ago because to be completely honest, as nice as the employees are and as convenient as the location is, this car wash sucks. I cancelled with an employee over 2 months ago and just found out that they have continued to charge my account. There is no way to reach anyone by phone. They owe me a refund of over $70. I am reporting the fraud to my bank.

WARNING: one pass through this car wash absolutely destroyed my front wheels. Upon attempting to get help with this, I learned the attendees on duty have been instructed to intentionally obfuscate how to file a claim, as well as refuse to put me in touch with someone in management who can actually do something about it (which is not their fault - that is what they are trained to do). There is no corporate headquarters, and employees communicate through a GroupMe chat and literally do not know the full names of their bosses. Calling the number from the website sends you to the Donaldson location, which is not a corporate office. They told me that there was nothing they could do and to go up to the location where the damage occurred and talk to them (again). After 5 days of no response, I returned to that location and received approximately the same level of support. Only after refusing to leave did I receive a response via email from someone who did not even sign their own name, rather “Wash Me Express CCT”. TL;DR is this place caused $2000 worth of damage and is doing everything in its power to deny my claim. I will be obtaining legal help regarding this matter, and will update this review when those proceedings are complete.

Hi Eddie! We have plenty of self-serve vacuums for use by our customers, but none of them are the type of coin operated ones that you are thinking of. Our vacuums are on booms, and remain on at all times as long as we are open. They are included in the price of our washes, and are considered just our way of saying thank you for patronizing our business. While we may not chase people down who pull what we refer to as a "vac-and-dash," we appreciate it if you would help support your local car wash by purchasing a wash after using our vacuums. It's just the polite thing to do, and helps keep the lights on at our downtown car wash. :)
