DON CHANGED OUR LIVES. I brought him a three-year-old rescued golden German Shepherd named Canary who I rescued from an abused & unstable situation. Canary became a very happy dog in his new home with me, but he still needed a lot of confidence building, training, obedience, and healthy challenges. In the 6 months I had him, I became frustrated, worried I would never be able to enjoy taking him out for walks, among other things. We now go out for walks every day and it’s one of my favorite parts of my day. Canary is now greeting strangers coming to the house or out-n-about with my confidence instead of fear. He is much calmer in general, he is eager to please, and has learned so many new commands. He impresses everyone he meets with all his smart tricks. He was already perfect in my eyes, but now he really is the perfect dog companion & family member with the help of Don and his family, his professionalism, his kindness, and his experience. The reason I chose Don over the other trainers I met with, aside from his experience, was I could tell immediately that he had a profound respect and understanding of dogs, and he is a promoter of positive reinforcement. He truly cares for the dogs and the bond they have with their family, and he kept in constant contact with me while Canary was away. I highly recommend TruMissionK9.

Don is truly a gift to miss understood dogs everywhere!… I have never owned a pit and was always nervous around them …but a pit showed up at my house for 2 days and i fell in ❤️. But I wanted to be cautious since I did not know what situation he came from or what triggers he might have as he was covered in scars…and Don and his boys have been so loving to my dog and have put him in almost every situation possible so that we could see how he would react and correct things and reward the good behaviors and he has come so far and has finally come out of his shell in just 4 visits and is truly a different dog!!!..he is so sweet and special to us and I can not wait to see where things go! Thank u Don!!!!!

Don has an immediate connection with the human and the dog. Maddie felt it immediately as I did. It just got better as Don gently guided Maddie. Always sharing technique with me. Train the human right!☺ Maddie accomplished an amazing goal today. Don guided her with his knowledge and kindness. He is our dog whisperer!

The BEST!!! He works so well with not only the furbaby but also the family. We need more training than the animal and he is so patient.

We recommend making training a lifestyle and not just something you do with your dog once per day. Making it a lifestyle will make his or her new behaviors reliable and long-lasting.

What age should we start training with our pup/dog?

Tru Mission K9s | Oct 24, 2020
Tru Mission K9s | Oct 24, 2020

No age is too early. A pup is already learning in the whelping box before you bring him or her home. We offer puppy stater programs in home and board and trains. And no age is too old, you CAN teach an old dog new tricks! We work with dogs of all ages on breaking negative habits and instilling positive and healthy behaviors.

Why is it important for me to continue what the trainer has established with my dog?

Tru Mission K9s | Oct 24, 2020
Tru Mission K9s | Oct 24, 2020

We as trainers lay a very important foundation with obedience and behavior modification. We create an environment that sets the pup/dog up for success. We need you, the client, to continue the commitment if you wish to see life-long success. The training becomes easier the more you work at it in the beginning. We teach you everything you need to know to continue to have a well trained pup/dog. After all, you are the most important piece of the puzzle.

Who does training benefit?
