I have been to this park many times. The amenities are wonderful. FYI - there are skunks there and when bringing your dog bring a giant container of tomato sauce in case doggy gets to close to skunk. This park is a great hiking, swimming and beautiful nature.

Great Place for camping. Go hiking on the bold old trail, cook, swim on the beautiful lake, you can do paddle board, kayaking and fishing. Currently they accept credit card for renting kayak and paddle board.

Yes, reserve online ahead of time because it gets booked quickly. If you have a state park pass the nights get cheaper.

After the dam it's not as deep, but really depends on how much rain
I too suggest taking your own, or be prepared to scrub theirs. Maybe heavy duty aluminium foil would work.
