Overall the experience was not great. My boyfriend had a good experience previously when he took his car to get serviced there over a month ago so he suggested to go there since I was having car issues. At first everything was fine and the staff was great but as time went on, everything changed. I figured everything would be done in a timely fashion but it didn’t turn out that way. I had an appointment at 7:30 that morning and my car was not looked at until after 3 that afternoon. What’s the point of having an appointment if your car won’t be seen in a timely manner. I was told by the rep in the location that they were short a mechanic that day so I’ll give them that. Once I was initially told what was wrong with my car, the office told me they would start working on my car the next day. Once my car was being worked on, I got another phone call about something else being wrong with my car from what I was initially told. I was frustrated about this and I made a comment to the office in regards to this and was told by the representative in the office that “it’s your car, I’m just the one that tells you what’s wrong with your car.“ That was very unprofessional. No kind of empathy whatsoever. I currently work in customer service and I know not to make comments like that to patients who are upset or frustrated. The representative at the office made it seem like it was my fault that my car was messed up and it’s my problem not his. He did try to compensate me with discounts to offset the costs of the repairs as best he could but by that point I was just frustrated with the office and wanted my car to be fixed so I wouldn’t have to deal with them anymore. On top of all that, I did get the call that my car was done and I let the office know that I wouldn’t be able to pick up my car until the next day due to my work schedule and was told that was fine. I then got another call later on that same day asking if I could pay for my car that day since the mechanic needed to be paid before the end of the week. Again totally unprofessional. If I already mentioned that I wouldn’t pay for my car until I went to pick it up the next day, why would the office call me back needing a payment beforehand. I understand that the location was short a mechanic but that shouldn’t be my issue to fix . The office should be able to pay its workers without pressuring customers to hurry up and pay. My experience started out great but was not great by the end. I’m not sure if I would go back in the future based on this experience. It’s hard finding a good mechanic out here in Phoenix and I thought I found a good spot but after this I’m not so sure.
