Do not rent here, it is over priced and overall a scam. They charge you 25 dollars a month to have a balcony that’s not included in your rent. And if you can see the pool from your window they charge you per month for that, even though it is not full 3/4 of the year.

I would like to preface this review with stating that I am not one to complain or ever take the time to write a review. For the past three years, I lived at Riverpark. Overall, the staff were nice and the location was very convenient. However, this is NOT a place for someone with ANY allergies to live. Also, I had to keep the balcony sliding door open from October through May due to the heat. Not once did we turn our heat on but because we lived on one of the top floors, the heat would rise. At times, it was unbearable to even live there and I would have to drive to my parents home to stay. The building is on a chiller system, so we were unable to adjust the temperature despite the fact we paid the AEP bill. These are just some things that I think potential renters should be made aware of.

Riverpark was an absolute dump and a miserable place to call home for the last 3 years. Half of the time we couldn't live here because we can't regulate the temp so it would get ridiculously hot. Water was off on a regular basis, and always at the worst times. Cockroaches crawl from the shower heads, mice run out of the walls, and the balconies were infested with wasps. Absolute dumpster fire. Do not waste your time here. It's worth the extra money to go someplace else. SAVE YOURSELF. DO NOT LIVE HERE.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I would not recommend living at this apartment complex at all. In the last few months of my lease, I did not even live there because in my building we cannot control the A/C. Even though they received many calls about how hot it was in our building, River Park refused to turn on the air until the week after graduation, which is very convenient considering many people had moved out by that point. Now, they are charging my roommates and I for “broken blinds” that broke simply while being opened because they were so old and fragile. When we called about this, they said there was nothing they could do and we had to pay the fees no matter what. These are just two problems among MANY others we experienced while living here, including the water being turned off multiple times a month with little to no notice, or maintenance requests not being fulfilled until months later. Not to mention, the rent is too high for what you get. I am very disappointed in my experience and would not recommend this complex to anyone looking for a place in Athens.

Yes

Does this apartment complex have a mailroom?

No mailroom. Your mail is delivered to a set of centrally-located mailboxes close or adjacent to your building, and you have a dedicated key to the box for your apartment number. There are also locked package boxes when you receive a USPS-shipped package. The key to said box will be placed in your regular mailbox.
