terrible service can’t get ahold of nobody, no calls back in a week. I was involved in a car accident a week ago and can’t even get my police report. What is this? I have left voicemails to the sheriff that was involved in the report no answer back. Also multiple voicemails to the Greene County Sheriffs Office nobody will answer me back. Government needs to lock down on this place TERRIBLE SERVICE

I went to get a background check for a job. I was required to go here. Online, the hours said 8-3. I went on a Wednesday, waited outside in the cold before curtly being told they are closed Wednesdays. I came back Thursday at 8am, waited for them to open. The two women in the office were demeaning, rude, curt and said I needed to make an appointment. Nowhere on the multiple door signs did it say that. I got the hours off the website and it didn't say that. They didn't bother to tell me when they turned me away. They held up a printed page they said wad from the website explaining that. I said I never saw it. They said they were to busy today and I'd just have to leave and make an appointment. Thing is, I'm not mad I misunderstood/missed the info about filing an appointment. I'm upset at the rudeness, the short, hostile responses. They were deliberately unfriendly and mean. So rude. Some politeness in the way you treat people and give the exact same information would go a long way.

The line might be long for CCW but Emma was processing everybody in about six minutes per person. Wish there was more like her working that hard!

CCW process was super easy and convenient. The girl at the counter was both professional and cordial. All other counties have at least a 1 month wait. My county is booked until late Feb! As far as I know, this is the only county that does walk-ins at the moment, so very appreciative that this Sheriff's office offers this service.

If your calling the office after hours there will be no answer. Call 937-376-5111, or 911 for emergancy
Online to Xenia public record docket and search his name
After normal business hours (M-F 8am-4pm) you need to call the non emergency dispatch number. That is 937-376-5111.
If you are calling the 562-4800, that number is a business hours office number. Call 937-376-5111, that is the non emergency dispatch number that can be reached 24hrs.
Cash works !

He/she is doing their job. Most likely looking up an address or location for a possible call. You don't own the street in front of your home, it's public domain. Stay inside and hide if you're scared and let the big boys/girls do their job.
1 week if you have all the documents you need. They have a list.
If calling after hours you have to call 376-5111. That is the non emergency dispatch number.
I know this doesnt help you now being so late but the only way to get someone a message in that dungeon is through snail mail
