Many bad apples here that are dishonest, unethical and systematic. If you feel you are not treated well get a copy of your medical records. I found that they lied and slandered me for all to see and didn’t list majority of the symptoms I was there for. This hospital also misdiagnosed me with Trigeminal Neuralgia leaving me to suffer a horrible tooth infection for 4 months. They gave a referral to a primary care doctor and neurologist who were also wrong. All I needed all alone was a antibiotic but no one would listen to me. The worst part is how mean and dismissive nurses were in triage. Manners were verbally abusive and non verbally such as rolling eyes and holding stares without blinking through masks. A nurse practitioner even stopped listening to me , rolled her eyes and walked over and started touching me all over without warning asking does it hurt here, or here, tell me what hurts right now at this very moment. She also walked in and saw me grab my heart and ignored me. I felt a sharp dagger like pain. She was called in cause my heart rate and blood pressure was high. But she just looked annoyed, ignored me and started talking to someone in my room. I have high blood pressure, get heart rates as fast as 150 and have PTSD. I’ve been hospitalized for having a fast heart rate in the past. I was treated so bad here, AGAIN, this summer when I went in for a different emergency. Now I have had nightmares of going to the doctor and treated like a liar. They know I’m not a pill seeker and lied and said I came in angry over getting only 8 pain pills the first visit weeks ago. All I said was another medical professional was perplexed as to why I was only given that considering. I will not go to the ER alone or any Riverside affiliate’s including Grant ever again and I have not had a issue at Grant but they are connected. My experience was unbearable but they were paid over 7k. The doctors at the ER have good bedside manners even though I was misdiagnosed. There was no immediate concern for longer term pain management but I assume they expected me to follow up with my primary care immediately after each visit. The issue is with a nurse practitioner, and Triage with a couple of the nurses and the power they had to lie in medical records that my primary care would see leading him to be dismissive as well. Systematic! And I’m black so that concerns me knowing the facts about the type of healthcare blacks receive in Ohio which is declared a public health crisis.

Just sat in the waiting room for 6+ hours with someone who was told not to drink anything .. and threw up 5 times while waiting .. the waiting room was full.. it is now empty and has been mostly empty the past hour .. still waiting….

Although my wait time in the ER was very, very long, I appreciate the care I received from my care team last Friday. The triage team was very thorough, and most of my health concerns were resolved. Overall, (as a patient & OhioHealth associate) I was pleased with the healthcare services I received. All of the associates/medical staff I encountered during my ER visit were very empathetic & helpful.

They say the people who answer the phone is the face of the company. Well if that's true then this companies face looks trifling, nasty, rude and pure disgusting. The person who answers the emergency room departments phone answered the phone like she hated her job. She rudely hung up on me. Wooow. Then when I called to complain about her, I asked to speak to the emergency room dept manager and some other lady picks up claiming there's no ER manager there and sounds like she's annoyed that I'm upset by being hung up on. If that's how they talk to people over the phone then I'm terrified to see how they will handle you while your laying on their hospital bed😱😥🤮
