Food was tasteless. Spring roll had no flavor...house low main had no flavor...shrimp fried rice was like eating flavorless paste.. so disappointing as we used to order from there all the time.

This was our first time at Hunan Lion. The restaurant has that upscale look and feel. Wonderful huge fish tank, large pieces of art, etc. The menu is divided into sections like drinks, appetizers, lunch, dinner etc. Menu items are in large enough print that you don't have to struggle to read the description in the dimmed lighting. Now the food was...AMAZING!!! I got exactly what I ordered the way I asked for it...no peanuts and extra spicy. The shrimp and scallops were cooked perfectly and the sauce was too good for an accurate description 👌. The waitress was quick but courteous and food was on the table in about 10-15 minutes. The serving was enough for 2 people and for $17 it was an awesome value. We went on a Friday night and only waited about 10 minutes for a table. I highly recommend Hunan Lion and we will definitely be returning!
