Well this place is about what you would expect. It's not half as busy as it used to be because they do phone interviews which is nice, but you still have to drop your items off. The receptionist is very nice, she's new, and the other one they had was amazing. The Caseworkers I've talked to have been pretty nice as well. They also have alot of information on the walls that really do help as if you arnt aware of how JFS works are helpful. It may seem overwhelming for people who have never applied but it really is a helpful tool and it isn't that hard and scary as that has been their reputation. If you know someone who needs help let them know not to be afraid they arnt bad people.

Cause it's like pulling teeth. To get transferred to a Real Caseworker, letalone a Supervisor. Cause you can't get the woman that answers the phones to transfer you without a complete life history. For her to still in the end,tell you well I've made a not in your file. I've just given up on calling over there. Because it's the same thing everytime I call over there.
You can go in and fill out an information change page or you can call in. They also have an option that you can do it on the app as well

i know for a fact the wooster office only helps the lazy. I lost a finger and couldn't work for 6 weeks. I couldn't get food stamps for 1 month until i got back to work
Go into the office with your stuff you own. . . Tell them where we are sleeping if you have a friend who can talk about you who knows first hand. Take them with you
Yes walk-ins are throughout the day but its on a first come first serve basis so the earlier the better and i know you need birth certificate for everyone in the house ss cards for everyone bills you pay and income for everyone in the house for the last 30 days bank statements and proof of residency

You should have received a big book of papers welcoming you to buckeye. In that will break down everything and afterwords talk to your case manager they can call wooster express to help set things up.
Anytime i have to deal with them, i go in there, because of that reason. Lol. And earlier the better 😉
