bes' place fer miles round to come burn some sage, feel as small & insignficant, as all human beans coulda/shoulda. ya can sense earth knowledge whispered by ze ancestral tree spirits, if ya eat some dat dirt.

Went on advice from the girl who reviewed it right before me, neat place! In December wasn't as pretty as it could be, but saw some great big trees which made it all worth it. Would be a great place for anyone wanting to do a trail walk/picnic/4 wheeler/mountain bike. First trail was marked but well not sure where it began. Would visit again.

A sight to behold. Champion Bald Cypress tree, 1000 years old, 6th largest tree in the US. Well worth the drive. Thank you for protecting this magnificent tree.

I quickly saw the refuge was inaccessible, no warning signs. So I turned back and got stuck in the mud. Now I’m alone with no shovel and can’t move. I’m still here 6 hours later waiting on roadside assistance. The refuge closing time was an hour ago.

Is the park open?
No ma'am. The marsh is still soft and the mosquitoes are thick but I didn't see any standing water last weekend.
It wasn't open on Saturday.
