Great spot for easy dry camping when you are in a pinch! We camped when it had been dry for a few days so no problem with mud spots but be careful of how uneven a lot of the spots are. Not a fan of all the bugs in the evening but you can’t help that in LA. Upside is the fee is beautiful in the morning.

You go online and submit a request theyll email you back with a permit to camp, prob will take about 2weeks and you wont know which spots are available until the email is sent to you. P.S. the struggle is worth because theyre free campsites as far as i know.
