We go every year
Iron Cactus
Sep 8, 2022
Overpriced food and drinks. The food we tried was bland...jambalaya, crawfish etoufee, etc. Extremely crowded. A mix of friendly and rude people. The best part of course was the strawberries.
The festival is free (no admission charge).
All food and drinks on the festival grounds are $10 or less and are sold by local non-profit organizations.
Ride tickets are $1 each. Each ride takes 2-5 tickets per ride. We will be offering $20 armbands on Friday, April 12 from 12-4pm (selling them from 12-3pm).
Cash only. Multiple ATMs are available on the festival grounds.
There is no admission fee! Food and beverage purchases on the Festival grounds support our local non-profit organizations. Ride ticket purchases support the production of the festival every year!
The Ponchatoula Kiwanis Club is in charge of Official Festival Souvenirs, including the Festival Poster. They have a booth near the South Stage on the Festival Grounds. Or you can contact them through Facebook. Thanks!
Yes. This year it's April 8 - 10, 2022
If you are are coming, get your hotel reservations now. It's the biggest Strawberry Festival in the nation. Thousands of people will be here.
Was there last night, and tons of all the classic festival rides. Lots of great food, and the band's were incredible. Bring your beach chairs for sitting. The grass area is a great sit, but was missing my chair. LoL
Are you going to advertise the USS Ponthatoula memorial park too? My daddy was on that ship. He came for the reunions. I think it should be a part of the festival too.
How does one it a spot to set up a booth of some sort....how much as well

Thank you for your interest in our festival!
No, Ponchatoula strawberries can only be bought in Ponchatoula. Though personally, I would say that the drive and purchase would be worth it for fresh berries.
The Parade was canceled. We also had to cancel all day Saturday. We will open with extended hours on Sunday from 10am-8pm! Check out facebook for an updated schedule.
We plan on selling ride tickets only (no bracelets) Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Rides on Friday take 1-4 tickets each. Rides on Saturday and Sunday take 3-5 tickets per ride. Tickets are $1 each.
