On my way to the ferry, I wanted something other than what Cross Town Ferry has to offer and I didn't want to pay the exorbitant prices at the local Orient restaurants. With nothing more to go on than my cell phone, I found this store/deli. It's right off the main drag not far from the docks. The best "meal" I had on the island all weekend was the pulled pork sandwich I ordered here. When I ordered the sandwich the kitchen was closed. I did not know this. The nice woman at the counter put the order in and told me later. So good food, pleasant owners, close to ferry . . rates the five stars above plus!

A lovely spot. It's like a movie set, everything and everyone is straight out of central casting. The food is great, the baked goods are delicious and the staff are friendly and helpful. They don't have everything, but there's almost always a suitable substitute. Or maybe just get something else. P.S. Don't buy the last piece of Apple Walnut Cake, that one's mine. Seriously, leave it
