Nice quiet park to go to for a short walk, or just to sit and enjoy the scenery. Lots of parking and picnic tables to sit at along the River.

Nice walk along the river. No walking path but even ground.

The major attraction here is the Hiawatha River Boat. With a slew of special events on board, there's something for everyone. The rest of the park is pretty tame. From my photo of the park entrance, you can see it's a long narrow park sandwiched between the river and the railroad tracks. The boat ramp is right off the entrance, then the rest of the park is a long stretch of grass and picnic tables with views of the river. More like a county or city park, this state park is a nice refuge from city life in Williamsport. For events at this park visit: events dcnr pa For more information: pa parks and forests (diamond)

I have never seen any pets on-board, but a service dog might be permissable. Call first.
There are no entry fees/tickets for any Pennsylvania State Park. However, tickets are required to ride the Hiawatha boat.
There are no bike paths per se at Susquehanna State Park. It's mostly picnic area, a boat launch, and the Hiawatha Riverboat.
