Serious concerns about the direction of Life Guidance at this facility. Extreme high turnover (these poor LG residents have no sense of stability or direction), 5 or 6 LG directors in a little over 2 years, services that the residents in this community need are not being provided (NO activities to keep them stimulated and engaged, still alot of TV time), poor communication and follow through continue to persist. Rent/income from residents supersedes the care Atria gives to your loved ones. They continue to prove me right...Our family member was sent out for a short stay for PT at a skilled nursing facility and has made good progress, but will more than likely return to LG and decline AGAIN because the staff is too lazy to get her in some walking time, making it easy for them to just push her around in a wheelchair...not sure if we can continue to pay this kind of money for something that doesn't seem to be getting any better...I think more time and attention are given to independent and assisted living residents... *****Update: I came to visit my family member Saturday 9/18 (3 days after returning to Atria from a facility for PT) and of course as I predicted, after a month of being in a skilled nursing facility, she is still being pushed around in a wheelchair at Atria. Atria LG does NOT have the best interest for your loved one, Atria's convenience is the priority...Since no one would assist my loved one to dinner, (look in the background of the first picture), I went to her room to get her walker. She is supposed to walk from the TV area to the dining area. Everyone is eating dinner while my loved one is left sitting there waiting. I support my reviews with proof. I cannot continue to subject my family member to this...I'll give Atria the opportunity to get it right... nothing will change because there is no one overseeing a staff that lacks training to work with memory care patients...

This place is beautiful but I would not recommend this place for the care of a loved one. Unfortunately, the reviews are consistent with friends I've spoken with about where to place my dad. They appear to be slowly going down like the Titanic...hopefully they're just experiencing growing pains...

I work closely with Suzanne in her capacity as Community Sales Director at Atria Lafayette Hill. I’m always impressed by how much she cares about incoming residents and their family members; she works hard to ensure she understands their needs and communicates how Atria Lafayette Hill can meet them. It’s a beautiful facility with spacious rooms and a caring staff. For anyone looking in the Philadelphia area for a great Senior Living community, I strongly recommend calling Suzanne for a tour and to see what she recommends for your situation.

My mother is a resident here, she always tells me that she wants to write a review on a certain individual here called “Alex” who’s a dining director. I am writing this for her because she isn’t good with the whole internet thing! This dining director is a bully to the workers here, she chooses two of my mothers favorite servers to practically bully, and let’s the other servers go off with no problem. She’s seen this countless of times. She will be making complaints to the management of this in person with me very soon, though she sits with me here right now telling me what to type in this review. This “Alex” individual should be mopping the floors instead of being a manager. Higher ups will be contacted regarding this. Just so everybody reading this knows, she sits on her phone at every chance she has & picks and chooses who to be rude and polite to. My mothers favorite servers who work very hard for the dining service here are being treated unfairly, Atria is falling apart because of staff being unprofessional and bias. Hire positions to the people deserving of the positions, not janitors in the disguise of a manager. that last part is from me, not my mother.
