Bought my first brietling here 6 years ago and store has lost its prestige over the years. The staff all wear t-shirts now, not even a suit jacket. Pawn shops in NYC dress more professionally, let alone a store that wants to sell you a 20k time piece. And as a returning customer, I placed a hold on a watch band 10 days ago. Flew in intentionally today and they sold it to another client. This is terrible service and a waste of time.

Breitling doesn't do authenticity checks. What they will do however is offer to send it out to have it serviced. Once their service department receives it they will give you an estimate of the repairs/service that need to be made. If they provide you an estimate, it means it's real. If they come back and say they cannot perform any service on it then it's fake. This process takes a couple of weeks but it works. Hope this helps
