Although I was very pleased with the curtesy, communication and bedside manner, as well as the fact that I am better able to walk, I must say I have been a bit disappointed with the results from my total hip replacement. Post surgery, I complained about pain down my leg and was told there may have been nerve damage during surgery, to give it time to possibly heal. For seven years now, I have been plagued with instability and pain down the back of my thigh, as well as living with a scar that looks like a sharkbite. IN my post op, I brought up both, but was told that every patient is different. The scar can be dealt with, but my leg occasionally giving out from under me is very disconcerting, especially as I am getting older. Exercise only exacerbates the situation. I really do not know what to do at this point. FUrthermore, my range of motion has been compromised - Is this normal? Wish I had some answers.

TKR in April 2021, discomfort only, no pain. Recovery with PT worked out well. Dr. Kissin and his team are wonderful. Scheduling the next knee for September.

I saw the doctor in January I was sent for a MRI In February and as of this date I have not heard from the doctor. I have made numerous calls and spoken to the receptionist who always states the doctor is not in and that she would contact him and he would contact me which never happened.
