If I could leave a 0 I would. New management is rude, only inforces rules when she sees fit, makes up new rules as she goes. It's gone down hill big time.

Used to stay here once a year or so, but since it changed hands, not a fan at all. We'll be looking for a new place to stay. Not sure what the new owners were thinking putting the person in charge that they have. Just wow.

Put a 80.00 deposit down on the shelters in April of 2021. THEY called me and asked me if we could chose another weekend due to bad weather coming. I told her we don't get out there often and she said she would hold our 80.00 untill the next summer meaning this year 2022. We love going out there and wanted to stay this weekend for my birthday so I called and they proceed to tell me that MY 80.00 is now been donated to them because I should have used it by Dec 31st 2021. THAT WAS NOT WHAT WAS TOLD TO ME. I feel like they should make this right. NOT my fault the lady lied. Then Freeda wants to call my phone back to tell me I still can't book a cabin. Like why even call me back if your NOT going to make it right. This isn't right at all and it's terrible customer service. A credit is a credit no matter when you chose to use it. We wouldn't be in this boat if THEY wouldn't have made us cancel our reservations in the first place.

Great park at a great price. Stayed here three nights visiting friends in the area. Nice sites with lots of trees. The best feature is they give you a nice bundle of free wood for your fire. I would give it a five except the sites are basically dirt, no gravel, so it was a little dusty and if it rains probably muddy. We did enjoy walking down by the lake and around the wooded park.

We do not have hiking trails at this time. We do have lots of woods that guests are welcome to explore on their own. There are streets periodically so it's next to impossible to get lost!
Im pretty sure u r allowed to and it is included with rent but I am not positive I know u can have tent at shelters be t I don't know if they might charge extra maybe I don't think so but am not for sure.
Tent sites are $25 per night. This allows 1 tent, up to 6 people, and 1 car. An additional tent on the same site is $15 more. A second car is allowed but must use overflow parking areas.
No, we do not have Wi-Fi in the cabins. We do have it in some public areas, and there is a password available from the office staff.
Hi Charlene, the 3 bedroom does have a handicap ramp to the front door. The washer and dryer are in the utility room which is next to the kitchen (inside the main part of the house). Hope this helps!
