This was my second fusion with Dr. Neubardt and Dr. Stern. 11 years ago they performed a cervical fusion which I have recovered from completely. Over the past 8 years I have struggled with lower back pain and was seeing local area doctors. After exploring virtually every treatment option other than surgery (none of which provided any relief), the pain continued to worsen. One of these local doctors informed me the only option left was a lumbar fusion. Due to my fantastic experience with my cervical fusion, I knew the only doctors I trusted to perform my lumbar fusion were Dr. Neubardt and Dr. Stern. This was the right choice, as my experience was just as good now as it was 11 years ago. The office staff was attentive and extremely helpful pre and post surgery, and the surgery itself was a success. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone that experiences back or neck pain!!!! I would like to sincerely thank Alison, Dr. Neubardt, Dr. Stern, and the fantastic staff at White Plains Hospital for making my surgery as seamless and easy as possible!!!!

I was so excited, hoping I had found doctors who were going to help me. I struggled for many years with terrible back pain. They said they could help me and I would be back to work in just a few weeks after my back surgery. After my surgery, my pain progressively got worse until I needed a cane to get around. I continued to see Dr. Stern and Dr. Neubardt hoping they would help me and praying it would get better, but after a year, it was clear they were not interested in helping me. I was lucky to find another doctor that helped me walk again (with another surgery.). The new surgeon actually said to me, "I don't understand why they did what they did!" My surgery was in 2016 and I am now 47 years old. I loved being active, involved in lots of sports and recreational activities - until I had surgery at Brain and Spine Surgeons. I wish I never did it. :(

Ask Dr Ezriel E. Kornel. He was able to place a minimally invasive device in my lower spine that greatly improved my quality of life. He had said that with all my spinal problems the ideal treatment would have been a full spinal rod which was contraindicated based on my bones "looking like glass".

The most caring ,kowlegable and efficient staff that I have experienced Dr Brown is extremely knowlegable caring and skilled neurosurgeon. I his field. -no exceptions!
