I am Episcopalian but have been attending the summer programs with neighbors and went today to service, primarily because they were featuring gospel music which I love. It's a beautiful church, the services and the summer program are great and the congregation, the minister and her husband are all very friendly and welcoming.

You can visit the inside of the church when the office is open (usually T, W, Th). If it is locked check to see if we are in the office and we will let you in!

Beautiful church. I wish we could have gone inside to see more of its historical beauty. It’s on the National Register of Historic Places.

Beautiful historic church. Gentle mix of married/single, & locals/transplants. Comfortable for someone searching for a new church, someone who doesn't go often, or someone trying church for the first time.

Hey Sarah. I'm a member of Crossnore Presbyterian. Crossnore does have a stone pulpit; and, behind the pulpit in the chancel, the minister's bench and liturgist chairs are made of hand-laid rock and are upholstered in the same color as the carpet (cathedral red). Other than that, there are no stone pews. I'm pretty knowledgeable with the area, and in particular with church architecture. If there was a church in the area that used stone pews, I would know about it but none come to mind.
We won't start breakfast until June.
Brunch tomorrow (Easter) at 10 am. Church is at 11 am.
