We got lost! We we're riding our motorcycles on the back roads and had to stop. During the conversation/dang it's hot, we decided to eat. I looked on Google and this restaurant came highly recommended. The food was great. The greens were amazing. The peanut butter pie is a must try. The atmosphere was welcoming. The staff was friendly. I'm so glad we got lost.

The way one orders food is fast-food style so there's that, however when you get to your table the service is really good and personable and the food, had the pulled pork and collard greens, was really good. They even made us 2 super fresh pots of coffee. I believe we drank it all too... Go check it out.

As always, Harvey's is great. Great for catering. Had them three times already for parties and we go there periodically for a simple but delicious family style meal. But this last one is very unique... My two-year-old decided that Harvey's BBQ sauce is also a hair tonic and now after two baths she still smells like the barbecue sauce. Which has naturally made me hungry for more Harvey's Barbecue.

OVER PRICED! OVER RATED! My wife and I live in Mt Joy and have been to Harvey’s several times. The customer service is great but their food leaves us wanting. The smoke ring/flavor is decent and the meat isn’t tender. Avoid the ribs because they do not even take the membrane of the back and they use too much sauce to mask the lack of flavor. The chili tastes like it is straight from a can. It’s a convenient restaurant to grab food from if you’re close by, you don’t want to cook, and are craving bbq, but I certainly wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here.
