I've always loved this place! My last haircut here was 2yrs ago. The girl I was booked with was new and I'd guess fresh out of school. I'm not picky or rude. I graduated beauty college and I've worked more than my fair share in the service industry also so I truly know how awful some customers can be, so I'd never ever allow myself to be that way especially to someone working trying to make a living in a field you're always learning in. When she finished, she asked me if I liked it or if there was anything else I thought it needed... I was completely unsatisfied with my end result. It was honestly my 2nd worst cut ever... Instead of being rude or awful-I simply very nicely asked her if she could make my layers less bulky by thinning my layers out more since I have super thick hair. To my surprise, she was honest and said she wasn't comfortable with attempting what I was requesting, which I was very thankful for!!! She recommended Angela finish up my thinning layered request instead. So I patiently waited until Angela was done with her current client so she could do so. It took her all of maybe 2 minutes to chop on my current hair state and honestly was complete perfection when she finished!!! It was exactly what I wanted! I've actually never had anyone be able to do it to get my hair so it will lay smoothly so I've always just had to fix it myself at home later. Angela is the only stylist in all my haircutting experiences thus far that actually listens to exactly what I ask for when it comes to any haircut! It had been 2yrs since my last cut, and when I tell you I was over the moon when I called a few weeks ago to schedule one and I was able to STILL request her specifically! She's so good I had to wait 2wks, but was most definitely worth the wait! She's definitely a natural at her profession and I'm sooo happy to have found someone I can trust enough to just say; Here's my picture idea, do what you think will look good, I trust you! 💜💇‍♀️💜
