I called the united rentals office to setup the rental and they set it up. She said I could pick it up early so I would have Friday morning. I used the machine 4 hours at most. By the time I got it cleaned up it was 4:45. It was too late to get it back to their location They close at 5. I had it back on site as soon as they opened this morning at 7.They charged me addition charges over the weekend and turned into a week rental. The manager called back and said I will refund that and then charged me 2 days rental. I could have picked it up on Friday had I known. She seemed very flexible in conversation That this would not be an issue. The manager said he lost a days rental because I had it all weekend. It was mine till 5 o’clock so if that were the case he could not have rented it anyway. Just know that if you are setting this up from a number in the web that it’s not even a rep from this store that you are talking too. Very dissatisfied.

Everything was great only thing that took away from the experience was the call back phone call that I did not receive when rescheduling the appointment

Excavators are heavy-duty diggers. Typically, the deeper the hole, the bigger the machine required. They can drill, break rocks, create trenches or dig large holes for foundations. A compact excavator is ideal for heavy digging in a tight space. Loaders are perfect for scooping up loose material and depositing it elsewhere. They move well in soft soil but cannot dig very deeply. Bulldozers' giant blade attachments can push large quantities of dirt, debris, shrubs or building remains to where you want them. A bulldozer can also be outfitted with a rear "ripper" that can tear through rock and soil.
Ensuring you have the right size bucket for your project is important for proper production and reducing wear and tear on the equipment. There are several factors to consider and calculations to perform to determine the correct bucket. Generally, you'll use OEM specifications, including the maximum lift capacity, bucket weight and bucket capacity. Find more information and how to calculate whether the capacity of your bucket will work in the United Rentals article, “How to Choose the Right Bucket for Your Excavator or Wheel Loader.”
The size of skid steer depends on the job you wish to perform. The smallest skid steers typically have a rated operating capacity (ROC) of about 700 pounds and an overall weight of about 3,000 pounds. This smaller size is ideal for a homeowner project as it can usually fit through a walkthrough backyard gate. A very large skid steer can have an ROC in the 3,000-plus-pound range for someone who doesn’t have room for a full-size backhoe or wheel loader. Read more about the seven factors to consider when renting a skid steer from United Rentals.
Why not rent a flat deck trailer.
I think that it is by the day. You might want to call and check.
If another branch has one we can get it delivered to the branch but we don't have one to rent on the yard
They should.
Yes
Hi, I work for United Rentals and we dont carry car dolly's anymore, but we do have trailers big enough for a car. Give us a call and we'll be happy to help, just ask for Jeff. -Tyler
