It was Ok until they tried to load the gearbox sideways(see the pictures). The operators were there, the foreman and all of them did not say anything, they just ignored it or turned their heads away. Luckly we saw it before they put it on board, rigt before the crane started picking it up. After 15-20 minutes a forklift came and fixed it, a lot of delay just because some forklift guy didn't care when he loaded it.

The workers at APM are the laziest employees in the world. You see ten of them standing around talking while at best one person is working. Then that lazy work will take a break after about half an hour and then the other lazy employee will take his time to take over. The whole thing is embarrassing. No wonder why America is going down the tubes.

We are not lazy we sit back and watch you guys try to back up and get your box, or watch you guys argue who was first or watch you guys try to figure out how to count from 1 to 6
C'mom Eric how would call that drivers are unorganized when the employees who work there are just LAZY, even that so call mechanics dont want to work. Drivers wake up very early hoping to be out and deliver their containers, And if u see a bunch of drivers everywhere is because the crane guy, the machine who pick empties are taking breaks every hour. Even if APM comes with appts like global I dont think it will work because employees are rude and lazy, i dont blame the employees because Is not their fault is the UNION fault for allowing that. I also work for an unionized company and I get that SAFETY IS FIRST but apm employees surpass those principles.
To make use their chassis and pay for rent $25 a day for use
operators do work have you ever worked up in this type of machine please do and see how easy you think it is. It is long tiring days and lack the man power at times The machines break down often because the company does not want to purchase new ones they are slow moving and not the easiest to operate with lack of air conditioning and heat. we understand you wait along time and appriciate your paitence we really do. they are training more operators and brought more machines in to help solve the problem hopefully. truck drivers argue with one another drive like maniacs cut each other off almost hit people so look at the other side of everything before you pass such harsh judgement and post it for everyone to see.
This is the best place to work I work hera as longshoreman
Do the terminal employees have bosses? Machine operator 8050 location 904 December 08 hour 6 30 am 2020 starts working at 7:46 am one hour fifteen minutes there you can see when he stretches his feet so he comes to sleep and not for what he is hired

APMT ELZ will be OPEN from 06:00AM to 1:00PM on Saturday, 1/26. Receiving MTYs, delivering imports (incl. reefer & OOG) and MTYs. No exports.
You’re correct !! So maybe just maybe the guy in the machine has Ben there for three days off and on around the clock !!!
Offices at 1600 hrs
Yes, the shift may have ended and the operator has gone home
Not sure what you mean Gina
Yeah
The machine simply doesn’t allow movement too close to the others so it can’t move down the lane...it’s not that they won’t but can’t. It’s a safety issue.
Yes
