I’ve never left a review anywhere but this was the worst experience I’ve had at a theatre in a long time. Thor opening weekend so it was packed and this place was obviously not prepared. No straws, no icees, no air conditioning in main lobby. Spills with no one available to clean up, a lot of the food was unavailable. I wanted to complain but felt bad for the staff, they were obviously overwhelmed.

It was nice first experience at AMC. The room was clean, the staff even ready to clean when the movie was over. The seat has recliner and can be heated. I really like it, since you can get cozy while watching. We’re watching while eating popcorn, so I wished they have a place to put the bucket. Also, where’s the closed caption mentioned while purchasing the tickets? I might have missed it. It’s really important for me since I’m not a native in English.

Theater itself is nice, but don't go if you're expecting dinner for your 7:45 movie when the kitchen closes at 7:30 without prior notification. You then get to sit through 30 minutes of previews, 2 of which are about Dolby if you're in a Dolby theater (and you somehow didn't know you were in a Dolby theater), and 3 of which are about AMC itself (as if you didn't know you were at an AMC) -- some of them were even touting the food options they have (but you can't get). I understand short-staffing may be the cause -- all I ask is that you notify your guests prior to arriving that the kitchen will close early so they can come early or grab dinner elsewhere and skip the ridiculously long previews. It's 2022 -- it's pretty easy to communicate these days. Overall, a disappointing experience for a couple looking for dinner and a movie and only got half of what they were expecting.

The worst experience at a movie theater I have ever had. Reserved IMAX tickets for Batman. The movie started 25 minutes late, no trailers were displayed ran for 2 minutes, then the picture went black and we sat in the dark for 30 minutes before anyone was aware stopped working. Honestly unclear to this hour if it was ever fixed. I requested a refund after sitting in the dark for 1 hour Unfortunately they refused to provide a refund since it was 30 minutes after the showtime. Instead they gave guest passes to replace our tickets. The guest passes are also expired (expiration date 2/28/22, which I pointed out to them). They promised me that they would inform the managers to honor the guest passes in the future. So not only did I lose $30 to sit in the dark for 1 hour, I also got 2 useless pieces of paper that I can only pray works at the only movie theater I would never want to return to. 0/10 DO NOT COME HERE

They are currently doing renovations that should be done by June, July by the latest, but some of the theatre rooms they have already finished have reclining features
Various different types of chairs depending on the type of movie shown i.e. IMAX, dolby, or regular.
I saw a film recently and saw some folks in front of me with a caption screen in front of them. Wasn't sure how it worked exactly.

According to this week's schedule, AMC southpoint does not have any sometimes for Victoria and Abdul.
