Given our desperate need of a new house after ours got destroyed, salesman Matt Nelson (after all their promises to get us something) tried to over price a mobile home sale to us. After the whole process to get approved (we even had to pay off our vehicle to get approved and pay $1000 to start the appraisal which we will not get back) the appraisal came back higher than what they were trying to sell us for and we could not get the mobile home in the end. Do NOT use this company. They do NOT return any phone calls and avoid you when you schedule to come in and see them. Bad company to use.

Edited: Just wanted to add an update to the review below. I have been working with Matthew and he is great! He is working on getting us in a house. It may be a couple of months but we will for sure continue working with Matthew. Me and my BF were really excited about buying a home from Clayton homes. I had been working with Matt, but the communication was very iffy to begin with. We were going over the final costs and such with him through text and it's been several weeks with no communication. I had reached out to him after I didn't hear from him for a couple of days reminding him about some numbers I needed ran, and I never heard from him again. I would still love to work with Clayton homes but not with Matt. We need someone who isn't going to forget us and be willing to communicate with us. Matt is a nice guy, but he is either no longer working with Clayton homes, or he is ignoring us.

My daughter and I went here yesterday, and Matthew showed us a couple homes. I absolutely loved the "Lulamae" home. I love the ranch feel when you walk through the doors, and I love how bright the home was. I'm hoping we can do business in the near future. Thanks Matthew for the wonderful tour.
