Why is this place saying they helping people??? I just called and asked if they help with rent or helping to find a way to get on section 8 and. They said we don’t do that and hung up .I’m about to be homeless with my husband

I love Catholic Charities. They really do help the poor and needy. With food and utility bill And rent as well. Is the people are very nice and generous?
