It was my mini "Va-Ca" . The plan was to just rest this scattered little self and my scattered little mind . Sleep . Well, so glad i didn't sleep. What a great place to stay. I don't live far from here and I'll come to the Public side just to enjoy the outdoors. Grab a picnic table, they're everywhere. For quiet solitude, tables are dotted around all boat landings....or enjoy watching the crowd, tables there too. My girlfriend ,who relays on her wheelchair , comes with me some and has no problem going where she wants to go.. public Bathrooms at gift shop...big rocking chairs on deck overlooking water and swimming beach. I'm starting to sound like an ad! Any who,.... No sleep, campsite side! I'll definitely be back for another 5 days in the spring... one if my favorite things is taking photos and videos. And That I did!! It just happened to be the same week as hurricane Ivan and it offered white caps on Keowee Lake with pink and lavender skies! Nice! First night, Not realizing, I'd pre chose a spot that didn't allow my rv to face the water when door was open, i asked if it was possible to change spots for the next night. Yep! No problem. Week days in September helped. " HERE'S a plug" I rented this rv from a great little company named " Happy Camper". Good prices and very agreeable, they came to place me in the new spot and I couldn't have been happier. I had EVERYTHING i could think I'd want! Just your personal belongings ( clothing & groceries) and your pet ya'll !!! Thats a big one! SOUTH COVE is pet friendly...more photo opportunities For me ! And so is Happy Camper rental. Just be considerate. All around are plants , blooming flowers indigenous to this area. Natural habitats . Walking trail. And I thought i was going to sleep! .........I will now, good nite Vern 😉

There are places to ride your bike and you can ride your bike on the road around the campsites very slow traffic and everyone watches for pedestrians

The showers in the campground are for camping guest only. There are outdoor showers for the swim beach for day use patrons. Thanks
I could be wrong but I don't think they offer that. However, there are other campgrounds in the area that do (ï.e. Forest Spring Campground on Hwy 11 in south Oconee).
No..there is a single basketball goal, but no courts.
You have to contact the office. I have rented different facilities and they differ per park. Just message on Facebook. They are extremely quick to get back to you and very friendly

With reservations , I'm not sure if they have year round residents though. You will have to contact the park directly. Be aware reservations need to be made well in advance. Hope this helps!🌞
There is plenty of room, but I wouldn't think so as for the skating simply because of the type of pavement. It is not a smooth surface.

South cove does not rent boats. They are a county park offering picnic areas, boat ramp and camping spots for campers and tents.
There is a playground area but I don't remember if the parking price is $2 or $3.
No. You have to bring your own boat.
