I have been used this Brookside Laundromat since 2011 when I moved to 31st and Riverside on apartment complex and lived there until we had to moved out because of demolished. I still used this occasional when I have ton of dirty clothes and blankets. Great laundromat place!!

It's smaller than most...but It is a great place to do your laundry. Nice neighborhood, friendly people and comparable pricing... Uses quarters but there is an ATM and change machine in place. When crowded, parking can be a challenge, sooooo don't go when it's crowded 😉

It's nice, clean easy to use machines. I especially love the two great big machines for a lot of clothes or blankets. Or their one even bigger machine that can hand the really big king size comforters. There's plenty of regular sized machines as well. The owners are very nice too. No card at this place either. You use actual quarters and the change machine works great. They also have laundry services there. You can pay by the pound. They also do some services like replacing zippers. It's a busy place. Quite popular. I love that it's just tucked back from Peoria so I can get off the 105 south Peoria bus practically on their doorstep. There's a nice little coffee shop just around the corner of the building and across the street is a restaurant. Plus a bunch of other things too.

Large machines to accommodate comforters are available for $4.75. Regular sized machines are $1.50. They also have a couple of extra large dryers for comforters I visited late on a Sunday night, but the location felt well lit and safe. Two attendants were on duty. There is an ATM and a change machine. All of the machines were in working order. Plenty of them were open and available. I will definitely make this the laundromat I use in the future. They also take in cleaning and ironing, if you're not the do it yourself type. Many people were picking up and dropping off laundry. All of them received a warm greeting, as if they were long time customers. They have a soda machine and a snack vending machine. No WiFi.
