Great beach area and water great for swimming. Wear shoes tho, my kids were finding lots of trash (bottles, a tire...yes I said tire...lol, etc)

I call this a poor man's paradise 😄 I'll take my canopy, cooler and lawn chairs to really feel like a king. The water isn't as dirty as other lakes I've been to and when I go it's not overly packed. Great little getaway that's not far away. *Update* the past few times I've been, the park ranger has been on patrol 🚓. Be aware there is no drinking. They'll give you one warning before they give you the boot.

This little beach is so fun! There is ample parking, tables, grilling areas, and trees for shade. The sand is soft and the water isn't too cold.

This is Skiatook Lake and I believe this area is one of the cleaner beaches and water in NE Oklahoma. Great for having cookouts and swimming with the family or just friends. I would definitely recommend this to anybody. They also have clean bathrooms. Which is always a plus at a state park. Oh, please give the $5 for the day parking it helps a lot with upkeep of the park. They have a electronic payment box that you just use your card on now. If the screen is off just push a button and it will come on. No cash.
