My daughter and son-in-law had their ceremony and their reception at the Riverfront Community Center at the end of June 2022. It is an absolutely perfect location for this. Huge room for eating and dancing. Bride and groom had separate areas to get ready. They were able to decorate the evening prior which was a great help. The staff had everything set up. The chairs for the ceremony, which was in a totally separate room, were all set up. The tables, chairs and bar were all set up. They were super friendly and accommodating. We needed another table for gifts and they got it without a problem. They did have one set up but we used it for gift bags for the guests. The caterer that the Community Center suggested/uses was phenomenal. The food, which they got to choose, was amazing. Half American, half Dominican and the caterer did an exceptional job preparing. Will definitely use the facility again when we have a big event. I strongly recommend and suggest you utilize the Riverfront Community Center. You will be glad you did. We certainly were!! Thank you Riverfront Community Center, we appreciate everything you did!!

We had our wedding at the Riverfront Community Center on October 30, 2021 and I’m so excited to post this review! Tammy was a joy to work with! She made this experience so easy and fun. The venue is an old train depot that has been converted into a community center. The main floor is the event space with three beautiful rooms as options. The venue looks out over a train track and the Kansas river. There is a walking trail a little bit down the street that takes you to awesome photo ops. As well as the event space being super beautiful and cost efficient, it comes with use of tables and chairs. There is also a team of guys who help set your event up exactly how you want it so all you have to do is show up and decorate! There are also a ton of add-on options such as lighted back drop, projector, lighted ceiling decorations and more! We would definitely use this space again for another event! It is a hidden gem and we loved every part of it!

Price of entry into the Riverfront Community Center pool is included in the fitness facility use. They are listed in each edition of our "First City Connection." Hours for open swim and lap swim are also listed. For summer 2018, the price for daily admission is $2.50 for residents and $3 for nonresidents. There are also 20-punch, monthly passes, 6-month passes and yearly passes available. If you live on Fort Leavenworth, you are considered a Leavenworth resident. There are also aquatics classes taught at the pool. Users pay a drop-in fee for those classes and do not need to pay a facility use fee.
I really dont know that you need to call them
Open swim for fall 2018 is Friday 6 - 7:30 p.m. Saturday 1 - 4:30 p.m. Sunday 2 - 4:30 p.m.
We have LOTS of classes. You can ask at the front desk or visit our 2018 Summer newsletter for a listing (our fall one should be out in late August 2018)
You don't have to enroll. The fee is a drop in fee. But sometimes people choose to get a 20-punch pass. These classes are for everyone regardless of age, size or ability. Right now we have a large number of senior citizens.
Give them a ring. See what they say. Although I don't know of any rooms with a balcony there.
Yes they do have a gym I think it's $2 to use it.
Track and Fitness Room Hours are Sunday 1-5 p.m. ; Monday- Friday 6 a.m. - 8 p.m. ; Saturday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Open basketball gym hours Sunday 1- 4 p.m.; Monday - Friday 4-7 p.m.; Saturday 1-4 p.m.
For summer 2018, we will offer water aerobics 6-7 p.m. at the Riverfront Community Center on Mondays and Wednesdays.
I believe so also. There are weddings and different events there.
The pool is open most days at different times for different activities, from lap swimming to private lessons and water aerobics, and the schedule changes every three months, so you should call to find out about such things.
Anyone can pay the daily use fee of approximately $3 to access the track, weight room, and basement showers.
