Given 4 stars because it is our local government office for family affairs and if you have patience you will get the service you need. You must remember this is a county office that serves a whole lot of ppl. Not just you. With that said, the new changes are even harder to deal with. You no longer speak with anyone here in Anderson. The teleprompted line is straight out of Columbia now, so expect long wait times. Also try to have some knowledge of your inquiry or else you may get a less than satisfactory response. Just forewarning. Conversations can get tedious. Good luck.

Tryed calling for about an hour every extension with no luck. Dont bother trying to call them.Its a waste of time

Lots of bomb threats at this site for DSS they never answer the telephones courthouse officials are not very nice I've got that southern hospitality

Anderson family Court is a joke. I have had my granddaughter for 6 years. The court judge will not make her pay child support. They don't even let me know when she does got in front of the judge. That's only when she is located up for shoplifting. The last time she was in child support court the judge put $16,000 in the rear for her. She always tells him she has a job and he tells her to start paying. That's a joke.She never has a job. Now she owes thousand plus rear
