These people are so gracious and beautiful and never rude or unkind. And to think, every one of them volunteers their time to help others. That is so commendable. I'm so very thankful for them and for the service they provide I can't even express my gratitude. I was in there a couple weeks ago during a stretch of high temperatures we were experiencing and it was more than hot in that tiny space and it was stuffy and the air was so heavy. Not one of them was complaining or even seemed bothered by it. I was talking to the head lady there and asked her if she would care to have a free A/C unit installed to help keep the place at least a little cooler and she replied by saying that they do have an A/C unit in the back of the building that is working and it helps a little. ??? It does? I didn't say that but it sure didn't feel as if ANY A/C was on at all! I asked her if she wouldn't care to have one up closer to her office space or maybe right in her office or maybe I could donate some fans or a fan to help generate some air flow or movement, she politely declined. She said they manage. If that isn't humility or whatever you want to call it, I don't know what is. I can think of many many people I know, including myself, that would be complaining and griping about the heat in there and that would be on a paying position! These people are in that space 5 days a week, sometimes more, and they aren't making a single red cent doing it. They never make you feel like your less of a human being either just because your needing a little help to make ends meet once in awhile. I rarely use the service they provide to our community but I have a time or two and probably will again in the future. It's nice to know they are there and it's nice to know that I won't be looked down on or frowned upon and that they are there if you need them. Wonderful, happy people, kind, generous, make you feel at home and that your ok and one of the family and always do it with a smile on their face. Thank you!
