Blue law, on Sunday you can only by beer and wine after noon no hard liquor. They no longer have the side that just sells beer and wine anymore. You can get beer or wine at any gas station or grocery store in Smith County, but short of buying shots in the bar no one sells hard liquor on Sunday in Texas to the best of my knowledge. TLDR though shall not buy hard liquor on Sunday and only beer after lunch so saith the lord.

Not sure about the vodka but they have a huge selection of wines. Merlot in particular, had at least 20 different brands. A liquor store in the sticks with a huge variety. Nice to come across.
