Nice park. Google says it’s 4.6 miles but it just about over a mile

Nice quiet walk under tall trees leading into Ward Park with playground and field, and McWhorter Park with restrooms, baseball fields, playground. Paved walkway so it doesn't get too muddy.

I believe this trail is marked as 3/4 of a mile on the city park website, it's small but very private. The trail is big enough for jogging strollers and pets. There's is even a small playground for children across from one of the two bridges attached to the trail. There is another park across the street from where the trail ends. Unfortunately there was lots of trash and dog poop on the trail itself, but there are doggy waste bags peovided on the trail as well. There were a few other people here, and this is very close to a residential neighborhood so I feel it is safe to go alone. Has a small Creek running throughout and it was cool to look for frogs, fish, and turtles!

This place is peaceful..you can hear the sounds of nature instead of people. You can smell the honeysuckle and other flowers. The pathway is clean and there is benches along the way to sit and rest, to listen tobrhe birds. This is 9ne 9f my favorite places!
