I took my dewalt nailgun here for repair it was hanging up on me . They kept it for a year and they gave it back to me tore apart in a box. Told me for months they sent it off to dewalt Nope they had it the whole time.

If you believe that the tools in the box are not correct, I suggest that you go back to the store and explain it to the store. If the tool kit is truly advertised as brushless, every tool in the kit will be brushless. If you want to stop by the service center to verify the tools, that can also be done.

I believe it is worth taking it to the Dewalt store but another option is you tube see if someone has a video in reference to your brand. You maybe surprised.
Its a 90% chance they can fix it for you. If they cant fix it then replacement would be the next step but that is according to your warranty.
